Tickets are on sale now for my play What She Knew, which opens on 1 December 2010 at manhattan theatre source, 177 Macdougal Street, in New York City for eight performances only, Wednesday-Saturday at 8.00pm through 11 December. All tickets are $18.00 and available online or by calling (866) 811-4111.

Gabriele Schafer will play the role of Jocasta in this solo show, a reimagining of the Oedipus myth. We’ve managed to put together an absolutely brilliant design team for What She Knew, including Oana Botez-Ban (sets and costumes), Zach Murphy (lights), Travis Just (sound) and Nick Fracaro (dramaturg). Working with them continues to be an unparalleled pleasure, and I’m very excited to share the results of our work with you in just a few weeks.

For more information on the play itself, you can visit the page for the production at the theatre minima Web site or stop by the Facebook page for the event. Book your tickets today — eight performances only! And keep an eye out too for my first book, Word Made Flesh: Philosophy, Eros, and Contemporary Tragic Drama, to be published by EyeCorner Press in January.

I’m looking forward to seeing you next month for What She Knew. And of course your generous tax-deductible donation to the cause is always appreciated.
